We are currently recruiting for a busy, independent Referral Hospital that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them as their Deputy Theatre Supervisor. This permanent full-time role would require an RVN with experience in a referral theatre environment.
Established in the early 2000s, our client's practice aims to give the highest possible standard of care at all times, at the same time as providing a friendly and approachable atmosphere. They are lucky enough to have excellent staff, all dedicated to animal care. This includes 23 board-certified specialists.
Theatre procedures undertaken include orthopaedics, including joint replacements, soft tissue surgeries, neurosurgery, ophthalmic surgeries such as phacoemulsification and interventional cardiac procedures such as balloon valvuloplasty and pacemaker placement. They have a team of anaesthetists to assist with all their cases. They offer their clients services that include:

The Role and Candidate:
This is a permanent full-time role where you will be responsible for assisting the Theatre Supervisor in managing the day-to-day running of the theatres, including managing your own individual cases. You will also be able to ensure the smooth running of theatres in the absence of the Theatre Supervisor.
This is an excellent career choice for a keen, experienced, qualified nurse. Experience in a referral theatre environment is essential.
In return, our client is offering an excellent salary of circa £27,000+ which is dependent upon experience plus annual bonus and benefits include a generous CPD allowance.
