We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large Veterinary Group in West Yorkshire, who is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a full-time role that will be based at our clients' hospital practice in Wakefield, it will require some branch work as well - although there will be more hospital work for a candidate with 5 years+ in practice experience.
Our client is one of the longest established ones in Yorkshire. They are also the only family-owned veterinary practice in the area, and are proud to serve, in many cases, more than two generations of clients from the same families over the years.
They have recently opened a new Veterinary hospital and now employ 20 Veterinary surgeons across 12 sites in the West Yorkshire area. Their facilities within the sites include Digital radiography, ultrasound scanner, Cardiac colour doppler, Endoscopy, ECG, MRI, and CT, In house Lab and a state of the art dental machine.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent position for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon. You will be working 4.5 days a week and also be part of the night rota, full details of the shifts will be discussed at the interview. The role will cover hospital work and working in our clients' branches, however, for vets with 5 years+ experience there will be more opportunities to be involved in the hospital cases.
You must be capable and comfortable in a sole charge position but also be able to work as part of a busy committed team. Great communication and client care skills are a must in this busy small animal group of practices.
