We are working with a leading independent Veterinary Group in and around Bristol that is looking to expand their fantastic nursing team to support the continuing growth for their practice. This role would ideally be full-time, although part-time would be considered for the right candidate and would suit a friendly experienced RVN.

The Practice:

This lovely practice was converted in 2010 to a modern, bright and breezy veterinary surgery that is sure to make clients and their pets feel welcome when they walk through the door. They have a wide range of hypoallergenic and Grain Free pet foods available from stock along with a range of pet toys and accessories.

This surgery has kennelling and facilities for anaesthesia, but they routinely refer their patients from here to one of the other group surgeries if they require and hospital treatment or surgery. With all four practices based in close proximity to one another, they are dedicated to providing animals in the local area with the best care possible. Each member of their team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care whilst offering clients practical choices.

As one of the very few independent veterinary surgeries in the area, they can offer their clients continuity of care that is rarely seen in larger practices. The team here at this surgery consists of a small team of veterinary surgeons, with a fantastic team of nurses and assistants.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client values and empowers their friendly nursing team and is looking for someone who is excited to develop their role to its maximum. They are looking for an RVN who is friendly, enjoys being part of a team but also able to work under their own initiative, has good all-round nursing experience and is committed to high standards of care. In return, they offer a great working environment, a varied caseload, and a supportive team with a CPD budget so you can grow with us.

The role ideally would be full time (although part-time could be an option for the right person) working 38 hours per week including 1:4 Saturdays and no OOH.

In return, our clients are offering an excellent package that includes a competitive salary and benefits that are commensurate with experience.
