We are currently working with a friendly independent veterinary centre in Northampton that is looking to recruit a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to start as soon as possible. This position is to work 4 on and 4 off working pattern with shifts of 08:00-20:00.
This independent practice has 3 branches in the area of Northampton. Their highly qualified and experienced team use the most up to date diagnostic tools and tests available to veterinary medicine today and strive to offer the very best treatment options for each case. Round the clock in-patient care is provided by their dedicated veterinary and nursing team.
This practice offers a wide range of services including a 24-hour emergency service to ensure patients are getting the best care
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working on a rota of 4 on / 4 off with shifts of 08:00-20:00. So there will be weekend and bank holiday working requirements. In addition to your salary, there will be a shift allowance of £12.50 per 12-hour shift worked.
A full driving licence is needed as you may be required to drive the practice ambulance to collect animals. Applicants should also be fit enough to cope with the physical demands of the role – lifting/restraining animals and cleaning.

The position includes emergency work, critical care nursing and the opportunity to assist in a range of advanced surgical and medical procedures, such as MRI/CT scanning, advanced orthopaedics, specialist nursing, and nurse clinics.
