We are working on behalf of a client based in Gillingham in Kent, who is hoping to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Practice:

Our client is an established veterinary charity that provides veterinary care to small animals, whilst also promoting responsible animal ownership and care. The practice currently employs 9 Vets and 10 RVNS and has facilities that include digital X-rays, ultrasound, ECG and Doppler.

Typical duties will include operations and consultations and you should be confident in neutering and soft tissue emergencies. There is a small amount of branch work that might see the occasional trip to another branch. There is the opportunity to progress to a leadership or management role for the right candidate. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, dependent on experience, that includes:

  • £7,000 allowance for accommodation and a vehicle

The Candidate:

You should be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills and as there will be some sole charge on Saturday mornings, you should also be comfortable with this.
