We are currently recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for a well-established hospital between Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio

The Practice:

Our client was established in 2014 as a second practice to their primary hospital, in order to serve the area’s increasing client demand for professional, compassionate veterinary medicine. Their hospital culture features a progressive, well-equipped facility partnered with a caring, compassionate and experienced support staff, including numerous registered veterinary technicians. Their amenities include a modern surgery suite with surgical laser, advanced ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, tonopen, therapeutic laser, on-site lab work, computerized medical records, and a full pharmacy.

The Role:

This position is split between two hospitals in close proximity to one another. Our client is looking for a veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years experience (negotiable) who has a real passion for what you do every day! You must demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude with a strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients. Possess solid communication skills, both when dealing with clients and interpersonal relationships. In order to promote a strong work-personal life balance, we partner with our veterinarians to design mutually beneficial schedules. Full-time veterinarians generally work 4 weekdays (appointments end at 6) and one/two Saturdays a month.

The Candidate:

Our client is looking for a qualified DVM who is proficient in diagnostic and surgical skills, have exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with clients, strong emotional intelligence; have a positive attitude and authentic empathy toward others. Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure. Ideally, you will have experience working in a high volume, full-service hospital. The right candidate will enjoy a dedicated, professional and experienced support team with a great clientele and a fully equipped facility.

Remuneration:

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of between $83,000 - $105,000+ (subject to experience) $1500 CE reimbursement; Reimbursement for Professional Dues and Licenses, Health Insurance, Paid Time Off and generous treatment discounts and more.
