We are working on behalf of a brand new independent veterinary practice based on the Isle of Wight who is looking for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full or part-time basis.

The Practice:

This fantastic new practice has been designed with both pets and owners' needs in mind. They have separate dog and cat waiting areas, consultation rooms and hospital wards. They have two purpose-built operating theatres supported by a brand new imaging suite and have been awarded internationally-recognised GOLD Cat-Friendly Clinic status. They are also a training practice, working with the University of Surrey, to teach Vets.

The Role:

This is a permanent role for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse on either a full or part-time basis. Hours are flexible but will be in the region of 36 hours per week. Out of hours are on a rota of 1 in 4 if working full-time and 1 in 3 if working part-time to support the Vet, but on-call is not busy and any on-call work will be paid extra. This role will be between the referral and first opinion side of the practice. In return, our client is offering an excellent salary and benefits package, including in-house CPD. Accommodation is available if you do not reside on the Ise of Wight and in this case, consideration will be given to condensing hours to increase time at home. Accommodation is being modelled on a premium style hotel.

The Candidate:

This role would suit a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who wishes to work in an environment with excellent clinical and training facilities. You should have good all-round nursing skills and be happy working as part of a small team.
