We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse in Somerset, Wiltshire on a full or part-time basis.
This is an exciting, independent practice, based in a beautiful Somerset village on the border of Wiltshire. Proud to be independent, our clients wanted to create a veterinary clinic that would provide the best possible care for horses and small animals using advanced treatment methods but with traditional values of personal customer service, professionalism, integrity and community spirit. The team is made up of equine veterinary surgeons, small animal surgeons, veterinary nurses and, of course, the administration team who keep everything running smoothly. Our client's commitment to advanced veterinary treatment extends beyond their highly trained team. They have a wider team of colleagues made up of some of the UK’s leading visiting veterinary consultants with specific expertise who regularly visit the practice offering treatments including orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, advanced dentistry and remedial acupuncture. They also have an expert Farrier to provide regular and remedial shooing. This team offer their expertise to complement the wide range of services, ensuring that we provide everything that the animal needs.
This is a full or part-time position working 40 hours per week which is negotiable. Monday - Friday 08.30 -18.30 and a weekend rota of 1 in 4 with one night a week on call. In this role, you will be covering duties that include helping with ops, nurse clinics, and laser therapy.

Equine interest would be an advantage but not essential.
