We are working with a small, independent practice near Newry in County Down, Northern Ireland, that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

This is a friendly small animal practice who pride themselves on excellent client care. Their services and facilities include:

  • Digital X-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • Microscopy
  • Endoscopy
  • Haematology
  • MRI

The Role:

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with various shifts between 09.00-20.00. Weekends will be on a rota of 1 in 2 or 3 Saturday mornings 10.00-12.00 and there will be some Out of Hours with shifts to be confirmed. This role is sole charge covering consultations and operations so you should be comfortable with this. The Candidate:

As this is a sole charge role you should have good basic medical and surgical skills. You should also be outgoing, friendly and a strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
