We are working with an established, independent small animal Veterinary Practice based on the Surrey/Sussex border who is looking for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a part-time basis.
This practice has full medical and surgical facilities on-site and a full range of diagnostic tools including X-ray, Ultrasound, blood pressure monitors and blood testing machines. The current team consists of 4 Vets, 7 RVNs and 1 Receptionist.
This is a part-time role for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon working 3 days per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 09.00-18.00. There is no out of hours or weekend shift requirements for this role and typical duties will include consultations and operations. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, dependent on experience, including a pension, CPD allowance and 4 weeks holidays plus Bank Holidays. Certificates will also be supported.
You should have a least 2 year's experience with good surgical and consulting skills as there will be occasional sole charge. Ultrasound skills would be an advantage but not essential. Ideally, you will be friendly, easy-going and a good team player.
