We are working on behalf of a client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire, who is hoping to recruit a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their busy practice.

The Practice:

This practice is part of a large veterinary group. The branch was awarded Hospital Status by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The branches run surgeries across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire with branches in London and Milton Keynes. The main hospital is in Peterborough.

The practice offers a high standard of veterinary care and advice and using modern diagnostic equipment in friendly practices where needs are met 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

The practice benefits from state-of-the-art facilities, which allow them to do vital tests in-house bringing faster results.

The Role:

This role is working 32.5. hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 09.00 - 19.00 and Friday 13.00 - 19.00. The weekend rota is 1 in 5 working Saturday mornings. No out of hours, but some branch work may be involved. In return, our clients are offering a competitive salary of circa £21,000 p/a full -time and £15,000 p/a part-time, with a salary review annually in April.

The Candidate:

Our clients are looking for a qualified chatty, friendly nurse who is keen to learn and embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. Also have excellent communication skills, adaptable, driven, positive team focused and able to remain calm and focused in a busy environment. The nurses are key clinical team members and are empowered to do as much as is within their scope of skills.
