We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy established small animal veterinary hospital based south of Cambridge. Our client is looking for a vet with 2+ years of post-graduate experience that will work well with their friendly team and be client focused.

The Practice:

This is our client’ flagship hospital supporting the Cambridge area, it is a state of the art building, that provides an exceptional environment for clients, staff and most importantly the pets.

The practice maintains a strong local focus and is committed to serving the community as well as providing support and referral facilities to the wider area. The hospital provides a full range of services from routine preventative health care, through to advanced surgery and medicine.

The Role:

This part-time role is 27 hours a week and will include 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 09:00-13:00. As a team member, you will be responsible for the day to day veterinary work and contribute towards the performance of the practices. You will have the support not only from the practice team but surrounding surgeries within the group.

The Candidate:

Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in small animal medical and surgery. You will have the capability of working in a sole charge situation and if you have experience of a sole charge role that would be of great benefit. Previous experience in a 24-hours emergency critical care centre would be desirable but not essential.
