We are working with a well-established mixed practice in the rural idyll in the beautiful Scottish Highlands that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This role is for a mixed vet with a split of 60% small animal and 40% farm to join their welcoming practice in Rogart, Sutherland.
Set within the stunning backdrop of Sutherland, our client is proud to provide a vital community service; not just to the clients and patients of Rogart, but a number of satellite practices across the region. What they do is truly unique and the difference you can make as part of the team cannot be underestimated. Our clients' aim is to provide pets and their owners with modern veterinary services, either directly or via referral, at a level of cost appropriate to their circumstances, in an efficient, friendly manner. They aim to provide the standard of care they would want for their own animals. For their staff, they ensure pleasant working conditions, by providing good facilities, levels of pay, training, and support. Staff should feel valued, and that they contribute to the running of the business.
The Role and Candidate:
This role offers a genuine mixed and varied caseload of 60% small animal, 40% farm and they also work with local crofters, which makes what they do all the more interesting. Our client would welcome applications from vets with experience in both areas and can offer progression for someone who would wish to develop into a lead vet for the small animal cases.
