We are working with a friendly Veterinary Practice based in Norwich who is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.
This practice prides itself on its approachable, friendly team who strive for the highest standards of patient care. The current team of 10 comprises of 2 Vets, 6 Nurses, a Practice Administrator and a Practice Manager. They have all the usual facilities you would expect from a modern, forward-thinking Veterinary Practice, including:
- Laboratory equipment
- Digital X-ray
This is a full-time role working 4 days per week on a variety of shifts. Weekends are on a rota of 1 in 2 Saturday mornings rising to 1 in 3. Out of hours on-call are 19.00-08.00 and these are flexible but there is the opportunity to do as many as you would like to do. Duties include consults, operations and home visits with some sole charge. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, depending on experience. Certificates are supported and accommodation is also available if required.
Ideally, you will have at least 2 years' experience and be confident with routine surgery and have good consulting skills. You should be ambitious, approachable and a good team player with strong communication skills.
