We are working with a large, friendly 24-hour emergency care centre in Dorchester, Dorset, who is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis.
Recently undergoing a complete transformation, this practice offers unrivalled treatment facilities which include a hydrotherapy room, physiotherapy room, grooming room and extra consulting rooms. Surgical and diagnostic facilities are extensive and include:
- Advanced anaesthetic monitoring systems
- Separate dog and cat wards
- Digital X-ray
- Advanced ultrasound
- Flexible and rigid endoscopes
- In-house laboratory
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with weekends on a rota of 1 in 4 with minimal 2nd on-call for the back-up Night Nurse. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team of 6 Vets including certificate holders in Dermatology and Diagnostic Imaging. Daily duties will include a variety of nursing and surgical duties as well as assisting with clinical coaching and supporting Student Veterinary Nurses.
