We are working with a practice based in Selby, North Yorkshire that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent full-time basis. As this is a lead vet role, you will need excellent general surgical and medical skills, and be confident in sole charge capacity.

You will be joining a small, friendly team of 1 other Vet, 3 Nurses, 2 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. They pride themselves on excellent patient and customer care, as well as being great team-players, which they believe is crucial to a successful happy working environment. They also actively support local charities and any animal-related community events.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to work on a full-time basis, working (40 hours per week) with some weekends on a rota basis but no OOH! As this is a lead vet role, you will need excellent general surgical and medical skills, be confident in sole charge capacity, and want to have a real input in the practice to help them be at the forefront of clinical thinking while maintaining the ethos of putting pets first.
