We are working with a lovely well-established small animal veterinary practice in Eastbourne, that is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. As our client is training practice they are open to applications from all levels of experience, from Newly Graduated to an experienced RVN.
The practice is one of the largest in the area, with 10 vets, 16 registered veterinary nurses, with receptionists and support staff. Their practice facilities give them immediate access to equipment and tests that allow a speedy diagnosis of their patients. In most cases, they are able to offer medical or surgical solutions to those problems using their own facilities. In modern veterinary practice, there is an array of specialist centres they can refer to for more advanced treatments or investigation of more complex disorders. Their facilities include Dental Theatre, Diagnostic Aids, Diagnostic Imaging, Dispensary. Hospital Facilities, Laboratory and much much more.

This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours a week. The weekday shifts are 07:30-15:30 or 11:00-19:30 and a weekend rota of 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in 8 weeks. There are no out of hours requirements as this is covered by VetsNow.
Your daily duties will include Nurse Clinics, Reception Work, Kennel Work, and General Nursing Duties. On Sunday shift you will be required to cover Sole Charge duties, so you must be comfortable with this.
There are four practices in this independent vet group but branch work will minimal.

Our client is looking for a Qualified Veterinary Nurse and will consider applications from all levels of experience (from New Grad upwards). What they are looking for is a nurse with good basic nursing skills and excellent communication ability with clients and colleagues.
