We are working with an ambitious and growing small animal practice in Belfast, Northern Ireland that is looking to recruit a permanent Veterinary Surgeon. They are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care.

The Practice:

They have an exceptional team of veterinary surgeons and registered veterinary nurses that provide Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Surgical, and Internal Medicine referrals by Certified Veterinary Surgeons, alongside Cardiac, Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy and Alternative Medical referrals and first opinion services. Their facilities include - three operating theatres, on-site 16 slice CT scanner, visiting high field MRI, arthroscopy, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and laparoscopy. 

Their team of seven veterinary surgeons and a team of nineteen nurses provides the highest standard of patient and client care, treating every pet as they would their own by ensuring that every patient is dealt with in a caring and professional manner.

The Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a full or part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients existing clinical team. This role will include first opinion work and assisting within the hospital on referral cases. There is no out of hours requirements with this role and will include some Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The Candidate:

Our client is looking for a Vet with RCVS membership and at least 2 years' experience in a small animal 1st opinion practice. You will have demonstrable ability to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and experience of working as part of a team.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a busy environment. If you have a Clinical interest in small animal medicine this would be a great advantage.
