We are working with an established small animal practice in Ayr on the west coast of Ayrshire that is looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon in a Full-time permanent position.
The practice is located around 30 minutes from Glasgow on the beautiful west coast and has good transport links including Prestwick Airport.
The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is built to industry-leading standards and has all the usual toys including digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities.
This is a permanent full-time position for a Veterinary Surgeon. Ideally, you will be happy to work full-time 4 days per week or hours to suit, with 1 in 4 full daytime weekend rota with no sole charge or OOH requirements. By joining the practice you will be part of a team of 8 vets and 9 RVNS. The team are dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible as from time to time, as the position will be based across both Ayr and Irvine practice.
You will have plenty of opportunities to suggest change and have input in decision making. You will have double consult time initially to find your feet, operate alongside your mentor, have regular feedback and always have at least one other Vet in the building to support you. You'll also have access to great equipment to fulfill your role and have a forward-thinking team to help you progress on your journey and career.
