We are working with a referral practice in the lovely location of West Buckland in Somerset, that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Previous referral experience is beneficial but not essential as this position will provide you with full training in all disciplines.
Our client is a multi-disciplinary centre located within the beautiful county of Somerset. They have a large purpose-built facility that is well-positioned for connection for traveling. At this practice they provide expert care for cats and dogs that are referred to them by their own veterinary surgeons. This care is provided by their team of highly trained specialists working in a number of disciplines and supported by a compassionate and skilled nursing team. Their veterinary surgeons are either recognised as specialists by governing professional bodies in Britain and Europe or have further training in their specialist field. This recognition is only given to vets who have undergone extensive post-graduate training and examination.
They are proud to provide referring veterinary surgeons with friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable support from initial advice to case resolution. All patients are seen as a priority and they support their owners through diagnosis and therapy enabling them to make informed choices for their pets.
This is a full-time permanent role, where you will be working 40 hours (although part-time hours would be considered) which will include 1 in 5 supported weekend work.
The duties for this role are to provide comprehensive nursing support in the medicine/wards team and the surgery/neurology team. They have fantastic working facilities with 24hr nursing care, they have a dedicated onsite night nurse team.
