We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly practice, with a lovely clinic base, as their Lead Veterinary Surgeon. This is a full-time permanent opportunity that would suit a vet with at least 3 years in practice experience.
This is a small friendly clinic that is steadily growing that sees a varied workload of routine and non-routine consults and procedures. The team consists of a very experienced RVN and a lovely patient care assistant that is dedicated to the service and care of their patients and clients.

They provide ongoing support to their teams, both in practice and through a dedicated training centre. This is a full-time permanent role working on average 39 hours per week (based on a four day week). The shifts Monday to Friday are 08:30-19:00, with a weekend rota 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full weekends (Saturday/Sunday 08:30-19:00).
This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently in a sole charge environment with the ability to make sound clinical judgments. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part within the team.
Although this is a sole charge role, there will be support available from two closeby practices.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a small animal practice.
