We are working with a client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, that is looking to recruit a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking to take the next steps in your career progression or if you are looking for a new challenge, as this role will expose you to a variety of cases and give you the chance to demonstrate a keen interest in medicine.

The Practice:

The practice is located in the city and metropolitan borough of South Yorkshire and with great transport links they are within easy reach of several International airports, as well as the Peak District for outdoor pursuits! You will work in a bright, air-conditioned surgery that is purpose-built to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including a dedicated operating theatre, digital X-ray/in-house laboratory/ultrasound, and dentistry facilities.

The Role:

This role is full-time, working 40 hours per week with weekends on a rota basis of 1 in 3. There are no out of hours requirements for this role, ensuring a healthy work/life balance which is an important part of their ethos.

The Candidate:

You will be confident in routine surgery with the excellent consultation skills necessary to build lasting client relationships. If you have a specialism that is even better. As sole charge will be required (usually at weekends) you must be comfortable with this responsibility.
