We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice based close to Banbury, Oxfordshire that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This is a full-time permanent role that would suit a candidate who will provide a high standard of customer service and care.
Our clients' practice provide their own emergency care exclusively for their own patients which gives patients familiar surroundings and efficiency at all times pf crisis. The practice has a team of six vets, with the combined experience of over fifty years looking after pets, as well as post-graduate veterinary qualifications in three different subject areas and is supported by three visiting consultants. They carry out ward rounds every day, to ensure all the patients benefit from that combined experience and expertise. The practice is fully equipped, spacious with an onsite CT scanner, laparoscopic equipment, multi-parameter monitors, separate cat and dog wards as well as 2 isolation units. The practice is well situated in North Oxfordshire with excellent public transport links and motorway access, alongside free on-site parking for both clients and staff.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team of all levels. You will be working 40 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends on call and including The Saturday. You will be involved in a combination of surgical and medical cases, both routine and complex. They have regular visiting specialists including ophthalmologist, dermatologist and physiotherapist. Alongside these, we hold nurse clinics focusing on weight management, behavioural issues, mobility and general healthcare. The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is open to learning, confident and friendly.
