We are working with a well-established practice in Maidstone, Kent that is looking for a small animal Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice which is in the heart of the community is not only committed to investing in state of the art equipment to give patients access to the best possible facilities, but they are also dedicated to being able to offer the best possible care for all pets through their dedicated and experienced vets and nurses. They offer a full range of services including X-rays and dental care, ECG, in-house lab, endoscopy and more. 

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent role for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, with ideally at least 5 years experience, and be confident in sole charge. This role covers 39 hours a week over 4-day shift pattern, offering an attractive work-life balance. In return, our client is offering an excellent package including:

  • A very competitive salary of up to £65,000, depending on experience.
  • Accommodation allowance of £9,600
  • Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
  • £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, in house CPD training VDS, RCVs, BVA fees paid
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

The Candidate:

The candidate should be a motivated individual who possesses leadership qualities, excellent communication and a passion for patient and client care. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part within the team.
