We are working with a well-established and independent veterinary practice in Greenford, West London that is looking for an experienced and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team in a Branch Manager position. This is a full-time permanent position that would suit an RVN with solid general nursing skills and a great passion for animal and client care.

The Practice:

This a small group of small animal practices in the busy area of West London. Our client is proud to be an independent practice that is well-established in their area and provides 24-hour emergency care that is provided by their own team of vets and nurses. They offer a healthcare plan that has been designed to provide essential routine healthcare at an affordable price. Through their three practices, they offer all the requirements and services you would expect from a well-equipped practice, which includes - In-house Laboratory, X-ray and Ultrasound facilities, ECG, Endoscopy and much much more.

This practice encourages and supports CPD to ensure that the team is kept up to date on the latest skills and practices.

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent position with attractive working hours of 40 hours per week 08:30-16:30. There is also a weekend rota of 1 in 5 and one night on call per week.

In your role as Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the clinic, working one to one with a veterinary surgeon and with the opportunity to develop nurse clinics. 

The role will include:

  • All nursing duties (to include assisting the veterinary surgeon with patient anesthesia and in the operating theater and caring for day patients).
  • Reception
  • General organising and cleaning
  • Stock control
  • Monthly accounts
  • Processing pet insurance claim forms for clients

The Candidate:

The position will suit a confident, proactive and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for delivering excellent client service and patient care. It is important that you are computer literate, demonstrate good communication and organisational skills and remain calm under pressure.
