We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent practice based in the Watford area of Hertfordshire, who are currently recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
Our client has an experienced and friendly team, which aims to provide a high standard of care for all pets in their care. They are an independent and longstanding veterinary practice that has been established for a number of years and offer a range of expertise to look after animals in sickness and health.
They have 5 vets and 6 nurses that are there to give advice on preventative healthcare, diets, and behaviour, as well as treatment when pets are ill.
Services include consultations, surgery, hospitalisation, in house lab, dental care, X-ray, ECGs, Ultrasound.
This is a full-time position working either 8:30-17:00, 8:00-14:00 or 12:00-22:00 with a 1:4 weekend on-call rota. Weekends are 8:30-16:00, (on-call until 18.00) and Sunday 10:00-14:00 (on-call between 8.30-18.00). Vet's now look after the practices OOH's
This group has two clinics, however, nurses' are based at the main practice. The team at this practice are incredibly friendly and treat each other like family. They have nurses' from all experience levels and are always on the hunt for fresh eyes and new input and ideas.
