We are working with an independent veterinary practice based in Stockport, Cheshire, that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
This practice has been offering cost-effective veterinary treatment to its clients for more than 20 years. They pride themselves on running an open, affordable, well-equipped clinic and work very hard at being approachable, understandable and compassionate. They have 7 consultation rooms, a dental suite, ultrasound, a dedicated orthopedic theatre and are cat-friendly.
This is a full-time role working 4 days per week from 09.00-19.00 with one set day off each week. Weekends are on a rota of 1 in 6 Saturday mornings 09.00-13.00 where you will be in sole charge but there are no out of hours responsibilities. Typical duties are a mix of consultations and operations. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, depending on experience, including:-

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years' experience where you will be confident with basic surgery skills and routine soft tissue procedures. Good communication skills are important as is the ability to work well as part of a team.
