We are working with an established small animal veterinary practice that is based south of Sunderland in County Durham that is looking to recruit experienced Veterinary Surgeons. Due to the continuing expansion of the practice our client is looking full-time and part-time vets to join them on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

This is a small, friendly, independent practice, that provides individual care for dogs, cats, rabbits and other companion animals. Their objective is to provide a complete healthcare package for their clients’ pets which includes the following: vaccinations, nurse clinics & puppy parties, behavioural advice, neutering, micro-chipping, pet dentistry, surgical procedures, radiography & cruciate repair. They are well-equipped with a digital X-ray and IDEXX laboratory system, plus separate cat and dog wards. 

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for experienced Veterinary Surgeons to join them on a full and part-time basis. The full-time role would be 36 hours per week work 4 days 08:30 - 18:30 (inc 1hr lunch break) and the part-time would be 2 to 3 days per week (full or half days, flexible working).

Both roles will include some Saturday mornings on a rotation (08:30-12:00).

Job shares would be considered for both roles.

As part of your role, you will be expected to develop your skills, enjoy the clinical flexibility of independent practice, manage and follow through your own caseload & maintain client continuity, whilst being part of a small close-knit team. Our client has qualified support staff, all the usual toys, Animana practice management system and great clients!

Remuneration Package:
