We are working with a friendly small animal veterinary practice in Bridgwater, Somerset that is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This position would be ideal for a vet with post-graduate experience in companion animal practice.
Our client provides professional care for small animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, birds and fish in the Bridgwater area. Their aim is to provide the best possible veterinary care and service to their clients and pets, in a relaxed and friendly environment. They invest heavily in their surgeries to provide the most modern facilities and equipment. The team works hard to ensure that pets will receive excellent care for the whole of their lives. Their Veterinary Directors have over 60 years of experience between them and with the support of five other vets and nine nurses they provide a wealth of veterinary knowledge.
They have a purpose-built surgery with laparoscopic equipment, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound scanner and all the other mod-cons expected in a progressive veterinary practice.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a permanent full-time role for an enthusiastic Vet with a caring approach to patients and their owners. You will be joining a very supportive practice with experienced vets, several of whom are working towards additional qualifications. The position would best suit someone with post-graduate experience in a small animal practice.
The position is for a 4.5 day week and will include 1 in 5 weekends on call.
