We are currently recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a really friendly practice based in Ashford, Kent on a full time, permanent basis. This role also involves some orthopedic work, so candidates who have experience and/or an interest in this area are preferred.

The Practice:

This practice has been key individuals over the years and has handpicked their team who have more than 50 years of experience. Each member of staff is devoted pet owners and understand the bond each client has with their pets and always share the best current ways of keeping them fit and healthy. This practice has state of the art facilities including but not limited to X-Ray, Ultrasound, Orthopaedic facilities, full surgical facilities and equipment and they also offer home appointments.

They provide ongoing support to their teams, both in practice and through a dedicated training centre. This empowers you to get the very best from the advanced equipment while being on your journey to veterinary excellence.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a permanent role where you will be working 40 hours per week over 3.5 days a week. There will be weekend and Bank Holidays included in the shift pattern.

Your average day will include a variety of nursing and surgical duties, reception duties as well as assisting with clinical coaching and supporting the Student Veterinary Nurses.

Full support will be provided as you will work closely within the experienced team. This role also involves some orthopedic work, so candidates who have experience and/or an interest in this area are preferred.

You must have a passion for delivering outstanding client and patient care and enjoy working in a supportive working environment. You will have a friendly and positive attitude and want to progress and expand your knowledge and skills further.
