We are working with a practice based in Dorking, Surrey, that is looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their lovely team.
This practice is located in a pretty town, just a few minutes’ walk to the high street and a 15-minute drive to the M25. Dorking boasts stunning countryside views and is a short distance from attractions such as Box Hill, Bury Hill Fisheries and Chart Park. The successful candidate will be joining a small but dedicated team that consists of 1 full-time Vet, 1 part-time Vet, 1 RVN, and 1 SVN. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray and has access to a wider range of services such as ECG, CT imaging, endoscopy, and dentistry.
The Role and Candidate:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take on a Lead Vet position in an established practice.
This is a full-time position, but flexible working and part-time applicants will be considered. The successful candidate will be a confident GP vet looking to take the next step in their career.
They are looking for a great communicator, someone with ambition and the drive to lead the team and to ensure the wonderful clients and patients is given gold standard care. A certificate study is actively encouraged and fully funded, and there are partnership opportunities for the right candidate.
This role covers 39 hours a week over a 4-day shift pattern, offering an attractive work-life balance. This pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.
The Remuneration Package:

- A competitive salary of up to £65,000 (pro-rata for part-time hours)
