We are working with an established Veterinary Group in Sevenoaks, Kent that is looking for friendly and approachable Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

This practice was initially a mixed practice and established over 100 years ago in the '20s before changing its name to the current clients in the 80's, today they are a small animal practice only. Their equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound and endoscopy, 15 mins consultations, health check-ups and vaccinations, diagnostic imaging, surgical services, dental services, laboratory services, rehabilitation and fitness, dermatology, nurse consults, pet passports, 24-hour hospitalisation and emergency care and euthanasia services.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a full-time position where you will be working Monday-Friday on a rota basis. The role is a 40 hour week, with the earliest shift starting at 07.30 and the latest finish being 18.30. The weekend rota is 1 in 2 Saturdays.

To qualify for this role you must be a qualified Veterinary Nurse that is fully registered with the RCVS. Ideally, our client is looking for an experienced RVN but would consider an enthusiastic new graduate, what is important to them is your personality and work ethic.

Your daily duties will include general nursing duties with ultrasounds, consults and rehab/fitness included. You will have excellent client care, with an ability to understand the importance of being friendly and confident in meeting all sorts of people.

The Remuneration Package:

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary that is dependent on experience plus a benefits package that includes:

  • 20 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays
  • Additional days holiday for every year worked, up to a maximum of 6
  • CPD support and funding of £1,500 pa
