We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, friendly small animal veterinary practice situated in Oxford. The practice is looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time basis.
The practice was established 75 years ago and now specialises in providing veterinary care for small animals but can call on local expertise for advice on exotic pets. The practice has a wide range of modern diagnostic facilities including X-ray, ECG, ultrasound and in-house laboratory equipment.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 4.5 days with shifts of 08.30-18.00 and 08.30-13.00. Weekends are on a rota of 1 in 4 with the surgery open until 14.00. You will also work one night each week 22.30-08.30. Your typical daily duties will include theatre in the mornings and consultations in the afternoons. Our client is looking for a Vet who has some experience and who will be happy to get stuck in as some sole charge will be required. You should be a good team player, approachable and adaptable.
