We are working with a friendly practice in Stoke-on-Trent that is looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to lead their kind and caring team on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is looking for an experienced vet who has a client-orientated approach and excellent communication skills.
This practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service that is provided by this friendly caring team. The practice has a fully supportive team of two registered veterinary nurses, that enjoy lots of laughs and are dedicated to their clients and patients.
The practice is ideally situated close to the city centre, the city centre has a vibrant side with lots of new restaurants and brassieres re-energising the cultural quarter. Their facilities are well-equipped with a digital x-ray, an in-house laboratory, and ultrasound.

This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working 4 days a week 09:00-19:00, with 1 in 6 Saturday and Sunday Share of bank holidays Second on-call (2-3 weeks per year) as night vet already working, on-call is secondary support.

You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience in a small animal practice. This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently with the ability to make sound clinical judgments. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part in the team.
