We are working with a well equipped friendly small animal veterinary practice that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent full-time basis. They are looking for a competent First Opinion Practitioner that is confident in a sole charge role.
This practice boasts great equipment and access to CT imaging, Endoscopy, and Ultrasound, including Doppler Ultrasound at a nearby sister practice. They have recently been awarded the highest accolade in the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme for its high standards of veterinary care and 'outstanding' customer service.

The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent position, where you will be working 39 hours a week over 4 days, thus providing great work-life balance. This shift pattern includes 1:3 half weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or 1:6 full weekends.
This role will be most suitable for a competent First Opinion Practitioner and will function in an environment where colleagues support each other, by sharing skills and knowledge, to give patients the best outcomes. You will be supported and encouraged to work to high medical and surgical standards.
This role will involve a mixture of running the hospital, consulting patients and also some surgery. As such confidence working sole charge is essential.
The Remuneration Package:
In return, our client is offering an excellent benefits package worth circa £65,000 p/a that includes:
