We are currently working with an independent practice in Hailsham, East Sussex, that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.
This small animal practice has a special interest in the follow-up of cases, welfare of animals under their care, intensive care and emergency treatment. They have modern facilities that are well equipped to treat in particular dogs, cats, small mammals and exotics (reptiles and birds).
The members of staff are kept up to date with medicines and veterinary procedures to ensure they provide the highest quality service.
The practice covers areas such as surgery (orthopedics and soft tissue surgery), medicine (critical and intensive care, dermatology, ophthalmology, etc.) and avian medicine.
This role is a full-time role working 4 1/2 days per week, the weekends are 1:3 working a Saturday 09.00 - 14.30 with a day off in lieu, and no out of hours requirements. This role requires some sole charge on a weekend.
