We are working with a small animal practice based in Ashford, Kent that has an exciting permanent position for a Clinical Director. This is full-time and based over 4 days to create an excellent work/life balance.
This Veterinary Hospital is housed in a purpose-built, air-conditioned, building, with ample free car parking. The hospital is headed by one of the Directors, with a large team of vets who are all experienced general practitioners.
In addition, each member of the team has their own area of special interest, including all aspects of internal medicine, cardiology, radiology, soft tissue, and orthopaedic surgery. The nursing team consists of Qualified Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and nurses undergoing training within the practice.
The hospital has been independently inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and been accredited to its highest standard, of a tier 3 hospital. They are also an accredited training practice for veterinary nurses.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Director who is motivated, experienced and has strong communication skills to drive the practice forward. Excellent client and patient care is a must – and you will probably be qualified at least to certificate holder level.
You will be well supported by a network of like-minded professionals and this role offers an excellent opportunity for anyone who has wanted to run their own practice without the burden of financial commitment.
The working pattern is 4 days/week with OOH cases referred to an external provider thus offering you an excellent package with the opportunity to enjoy a superb work/life balance.
