We are currently recruiting on behalf of a group of Veterinary practices based in Bradford, West Yorkshire who are seeking a permanent full-time and part-time Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their fantastic team!

The Practice:

The practice was set up in the 1980s and has three branches in West Yorkshire. They strive to provide a high-quality personal service for their clients, and each of their patients is important to them. All the Vets are very well qualified general practitioners, who have a great deal of experience across the small animal spectrum. They are a Tier 3 Hospital and Veterinary Nurse training practice, which provides a high standard of care to pets 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The practice consists of 8 Vets, 14 Nurses, and an excellent support team. The team sees a real mix of animals including lots of exotics and small furries. Our client has well-equipped sites including a state of the art ultrasound machine and EPOC. They are also excited about their fantastic new premises and facilities due to be finished this year.

The Role:

The position is a permanent full-time and part-time role for Night RVN to join our clients' fantastic team! As a Night Nurse, your role would consist of; looking after their inpatients, this can range from intensive care patients to general nursing, and providing lots of TLC. They use Vets Now as their OOH provider but do occasionally have an emergency or urgent procedures that may need to be carried out for inpatients or from evening consults. They have a varied caseload including offer referrals in orthopaedics and they have a good range of surgical cases including exotics. The majority of procedures are carried out in-house where possible and although you will have no OOH duties, the hospital facilities boast 24-hour nursing to enable overnight inpatient care.

Full-time and part-time applications will be considered. The rota 3-week rolling rota –

  • 5 days 40 hours - week 1,
  • 7 nights on - week 2 (19:00 – 07:00 / 19:00 - 07:30)
  • 7 days/nights off -week 3.
  • Hours; week of days is various shift hours -
