We are working with a mixed animal veterinary practice based in Glengormley, County Antrim that is looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part-time basis. Our client is open to receive applications from mixed animal and small animal only Veterinary Surgeons.

The Practice: 

Our client has an 80% small animal, 20% large animal split and is based across 3 branches with a team of receptionists in each, 6 vets & 5 nursing staff total. They have all the usual toys: x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, biochemistry, and haematology. Their case range varies significantly and they take pride in working them up to the best of their abilities. There is a massive scope to develop your interests further, be that orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology…..the list goes on!

The Role and Candidate:

Our client understands the need for flexibility and would like to discuss what you’re looking for in a job rather than focus entirely on what we need from you. So the role they have on offer is flexible and can be full or part-time and the out of hours and weekends are also negotiable.

They can’t guarantee that there won’t be stressful days or the odd difficult client but they do believe that they offer an extremely supportive and friendly environment in which to grow.

In return, they are offering a generous CPD budget (£1000/year) and is offering full-time salaries ranging from £30,000 for a new graduate to £45,000 for an experienced, mixed practitioner who contributes to the OOH rota (plus mileage expenses).
