We are working with a charity practice in Gillingham that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This role is to work 37.5 hours a week, full details to be discussed at the interview.
Founded in 1917 by animal welfare pioneer, Maria Dickin CBE, PDSA is the UK’s leading veterinary charity. Operating through a UK-wide network of 48 Pet Hospitals, PDSA provides low cost and free veterinary care to the sick and injured pets of people in need and promotes responsible pet ownership. The hospital looks great having just had its front of the house and consult rooms refurbished and also boasts a new ultrasound machine, endoscopy, and new digital X-ray. Caseload is varied- see more in a year than you will in a career!
Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis, where you will be working 37.5 hours per week. Vets typically work 1 in 6 Saturday mornings from 9-12 and get lieu time for that which is half a day off.

The successful candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon and responsible for updating their knowledge by attending regular CPD training. You will be involved in all aspects of clinical governance at the Pet Hospital, responsible for managing cases cost-effectively, encouraging financial contributions from clients, and making sure that PDSA resources are used appropriately.
