We are currently working with a great mixed practice who are looking to recruit a full-time Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon (70% Equine/30% Small Animal) to join their team on a permanent basis.
This practice has been providing a caring, compassionate and high quality veterinary service since the 1930's. With their main practice in Barnsley and 3 branch practices spread throughout South and West Yorkshire, our client is well placed to serve the local communities with care for their pets and companion animals as well as a full equine service.
The position is full-time working 4 or 5 days per week, with the exact working pattern to be negotiated.
The weekend rota is 1 in 3 or 4 Sundays with Saturdays to cover holidays. There are no OOHs but there is some sole charge required. In return, the practice can offer a competitive salary, CPD allowance of £1,000 plus 3 days, 5 weeks holiday, RCVS & BVA fees paid plus one other subscription. Certificates are also supported.
The practice is looking for a vet with ideally at least 2 years’ experience to join their experienced and motivated team. However, they will consider applications from vets with less experience. You should be competent in first opinion work and have good communication skills.
