We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice based in Bath area in Somerset, for a friendly Deputy Head Nurse to join their committed team, on full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

This practice is now one of the best equipped veterinary hospitals in the South West and has some of the most experienced veterinary surgeons in the region. Our client's hospital is equipped to the highest standard and is accredited under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Accreditation Scheme. Many of their surgeons hold Certificates from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in either medicine or surgery. The team has expertise in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, endoscopy/laparoscopy, medical and surgical oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, cardiology, on-site MRI, fracture repair, physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy. In addition to modern facilities and high clinical standards, they also aim to provide their patients and clients with a service that is convenient and helps make pet-care possible and enjoyable as part of a busy lifestyle.

The Role and Candidate:

This full-time permanent role would suit a Deputy Head Nurse to join a friendly and committed team. This is a unique role that will allow a successful applicant to embrace and develop their clinical skills with a varied caseload whilst assisting their dedicated Head Nurse in managing and supporting the nursing team. A successful applicant must be enthusiastic about nursing, have good communication skills and have the ability to motivate.

The exact working pattern is to be confirmed, including hours per week, potential out of hours and weekend requirements.
