We are working with a large established practice in Dyfed, Pembrokeshire, who is looking to recruit a permanent full-time large animal Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1 year of experience.

The Practice:

This is a mixed practice treating both companion and large animals, offering a wide range of services from microchipping, animal dentistry, neutering and pet passports through to a calf tracker scheme, TB testing and farm fertility visits. They also offer extra activities such as artificial insemination courses and lambing courses. 

The Role:

This is a full-time role for a large animal veterinary surgeon with working hours of 08.30-17.30 and weekends on a rota of 1 in 6 full weekends and half a weekend in 6 as a back-up. There is also a requirement to work one night per week. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, depending on experience, including:-

The Candidate:

You should have at least 1 year of experience and be confident in ultrasonography in pregnancy, TB testing and be able to perform fertility visits. You should be a good team player with strong communication skills.
