We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Veterinary Practice in Stroud, Gloucestershire, that has a fantastic opportunity for a Nurse Clinical Lead on a full-time permanent basis.
Our client's practice is very friendly with a high standard first opinion team that fully works medical cases and performs advanced surgical procedures e.g. TTA, perineal urethrostomy, and laparascopic procedures. The client is proud of their great and enthusiastic clinical team that consists of 9 vets, 13 nurses and 4 VCA, some are certificate holders and there are those currently working towards certificates.
The practice is supported by a local referral hospital that is well equipped with laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, radiography, echocardiography and on-site lab with brand new biochemistry and haematology machines. The practice is located in the beautiful Cotswolds with fantastic transport links and is close to Cheltenham, Bristol, and Bath.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a confident Nurse Clinical Lead to join and motivate the nursing team. The role is to ensure excellent teamwork within the nurses and with the other staff and ultimately drive the team to deliver the highest level of clinical care. You will have regular nurse duties regarding medical and surgical patient care. You will liaise regularly with the Clinical Director and Practice Manager in regards to nursing provision.
The exact working pattern is soon to be confirmed, however, the role is 40 hours per week full-time. You will be part of the rota to cover weekend day shifts with the other nursing staff.

A successful applicant must be an RVN with qualified nursing experience and it's essential the applicant has proven leadership experience.
