We are working with a veterinary hospital near to the border of South East London and Kent that is for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team of nurses. This is a full-time permanent position that will include all areas of nursing.
This well established independent Tier 3 veterinary practice can be found in an easily accessible location in Kent. As well as their main hospital practice they have a total of 7 clinics that are accessible around the Kent area. Throughout their practices, they are able to cater to cats, dogs, rabbits, and most small furries & exotics and have created as soothing an environment as possible for their patients and their owners. Their vets are able to build long-lasting relationships with their clients and have access to a wide range of diagnostic tools.
The practice has all the equipment you would expect of a hospital along with separate cat and dog wards, 3 theatres, 2 dental suites, 2 imaging areas, and a visiting MRI.
They have a dedicated night, insurance, lab, and client care team, which allows their nursing team to focus on the patients. RVN positions rarely become available so please take this opportunity if you are searching for the perfect job.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Night Registered Veterinary Nurse that will complement their friendly and experienced team. The hours for this role will amount to 42 hours per week on a rota basis of 7 nights on, 7 nights off, 20:00-8:00.
The role will be caring for their inpatients overnight including any medication needed overnight, toileting breaks, TLC when needed, answering emergency calls, receiving emergency patients and treating as necessary and emergency surgery whilst working alongside and supported by a Veterinary Surgeon and two Veterinary Care Assistants. Plus a second on-call nurse available every night for support.

Our client is looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who is highly motivated and enthusiastic with emergency experience, however, night work experience advised, but not essential. A nurse who is keen to provide gold standard to in the wards and inpatient care. To be enthusiastic about extending knowledge on emergency treatment, and to improve clinical skills. Must have the ability to work as part of a team and work individually. Good organisational skills and initiative, time management and communication.
