We are working with a client in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, that is looking to recruit a full-time small animal veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career and join a supportive and growing practice.
Our client is a rapidly growing small animal veterinary practice based in the Rotherham area. They are committed to not only investing in state of the art equipment to give patients access to the best possible facilities, but they are also dedicated to being able to offer the best possible care for all pets through their experienced vets and nurses. You will be working within a well-equipped practice that benefits from digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, bone kit as well as a full ex-lap kit including suction and diathermy. You will be joining a busy team of 8 vets, a large nursing team and an experienced support team.
This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week over 4 days with weekends on a rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 4 full weekends. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, subject to experience, plus benefits including:-
- Accommodation allowance £5,400
- Vehicle or allowance £2,500
- CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days leave
- VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid
- 5 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 year's UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and be confident in their recommendations. You will be working with a multi vet team which consists of 8 experienced vets with a busy and varied caseload.
