We are working with a dedicated small animal veterinary practice based near Nottingham who is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

This happy and welcoming team of 11 have a mixture of experience levels and many have been with the practice since the day it opened in 2012. They benefit from a very experienced veterinary team and are also a proud nurse training practice with 2 experienced, qualified nurses and 2 trainee nurses.  They see a number of big cases each day, which form their varied and in-depth caseload.

The Role:

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no out of hours. They are very lucky to have an experienced vet team so are open to a variety of applicants including full or part-time Veterinary Surgeons depending on your circumstancesThe practice encourages good case development both medically and surgically. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary, depending on experience, CPD allowance, pension and company benefits.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience of working complex cases up to a high standard and enjoy the challenges these can bring. Certificates or interest in orthopaedic surgery would be advantageous, but not essential. They are also happy to support a recent graduate, as clinical support is provided at all times and you will get hands-on support and experience in their operating theatre.
