We are working with a mixed veterinary surgeon in the Morpeth, the heart of Northumberland that is looking to recruit a cheerful and charming Registered Veterinary Nurse/2nd Student Veterinary Nurse on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
The scope for development and learning here are endless; from surgical support at their state-of-the-art hospital based in Morpeth to consulting at our 7 small animal branch surgeries. Their varied caseload included exotics and they offer behaviour and acupuncture services. They also have a Hydrotherapy unit on site.
This team of experienced vets and directors offer high levels of expertise across all disciplines, including certificates in small animal medicine, surgery, and exotics. Individual interests are encouraged and development in these areas will be supported. Their large and friendly team arrange regular social events (with the occasional night out...) and are also heavily involved in charity fundraising events.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be predominately based at our hospital in Morpeth, but it will include some branch surgery duties. Some OOH duties on a shared rota and occasional branch surgery duties. The rota includes in-patient care, theatre duties, nursing consults, and laboratory. The full details of shifts and rotas will be discussed at the interview.

The Candidate:
Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or 2nd/Final year Student Veterinary Nurse. Experience of large animal/equine/exotic species is not essential. A driving licence is essential and the use of your own car is preferred.
