We are working with a forward-thinking veterinary practice based in Ashford, Middlesex, that is looking to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team as their Lead Vet. This full-time permanent position would suit a confident Veterinary Surgeon with GP experience and excellent client and communication skills.

The Practice:

This practice is equipped with many diagnostic facilities, such as a blood laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, and ECG. The dedicated nursing team covers a range of advice and treatments, including de-worming, flea treatment, and weight management. They also have access to a wider range of services provided by the group such as MRI, hydrotherapy, and 24-hour hospital.

The practice benefits from in-house MRI machines and state-of-the-art operating theatres. They provide ongoing support to their teams, both in practice and through their dedicated training centre.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will ideally at least 3 years' post-graduate veterinary experience. This position would suit a confident Veterinary Surgeon with GP experience and excellent client and communication skills.

This role will function in an environment where colleagues support each other, by sharing skills and knowledge, to give patients the best outcomes. In return, they will provide strong mentorship, a fantastic package, and the chance to be involved in cases using state-of-the-art technology. The successful candidate will work 39 hours a week over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) and the shift pattern also includes 1:4 Saturdays 08:30-14:00.

The Remuneration Package:

In return for all your commitment, they are offering a very competitive package of up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance. The benefits package includes:
