We are working with a forward-thinking veterinary practice based in Ashford, Kent, that is hoping to recruit a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. This position is for an experienced Vet to join our clients' practice as their Lead Veterinary Surgeon.
This practice is equipped with many diagnostic facilities, such as a blood laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, and ECG. The dedicated nursing team covers a range of advice and treatments, including de-worming, flea treatment and weight management. They also have access to a wider range of services provided by the group such as MRI, hydrotherapy and 24-hour hospital.

The practice benefits from in-house MRI machines and state-of-the-art operating theatres. They provide ongoing support to their teams, both in practice and through their dedicated training centre.
This is a full-time Lead Veterinary Surgeon role, where you will be working 39 hours per week (every Thursday off), with Saturdays on a rota of 1 in 4 08:30-14:00. There are no out-of-hours requirements for this role.
This role will function in an environment where colleagues support each other, by sharing skills and knowledge, to give patients the best outcomes.
Ideally, you will have at least 3 years of veterinary experience and this position would suit a confident Veterinary Surgeon with GP experience and excellent client and communication skills.
