We are currently working on behalf of a small animal practice in Pershore, Worcestershire that are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their insightful team on a full-time permanent basis. Second-year students will be considered for the right candidate.
Based in the picturesque Market Town, famed for its elegant Georgian architecture and magnificent Abbey. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and picturesque villages. The practice has a strong team with a family feel, always encouraging the team to enjoy their special interests. It is a fully equipped practice, including endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, digital x-ray, separate dental suite, and dental x-ray. They have a full orthopaedic theatre and perform surgeries as well as taking referrals for TPLO, TTA, Stem cell, and platelet enriched treatments. They also run nurse clinics and puppy parties for those who have an interest, which gives you the chance to build a good relationship with the clients.
Our client is looking for a strong enthusiastic person, who wants to join a busy small animal practice. They are looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse/Second-year nurse to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Duties to include: ward duties, cleaning feeding and medicating of the inpatients, then reporting back to the assigned surgeon and conversing with owners. Operating duties, including prep and post-operative care. Assisting veterinary surgeons during consultations and some reception.
The exact working hours and days are soon to be confirmed, along with potential weekend and OOH requirements.

Ideally, they are looking for an RVN, however, a second-year student would be considered for the right candidate. Experience of good theatre practice is beneficial, although in house training will be given. Good communication skills and self-motivation is essential.
